We extensively advise our clients in copyright, patent and trademark protection issues. Furthermore, we represented them in disputes relating to breach of trademark, unfair use of trademark, as well as counterfeiting of goods and trademarks. We also represent clients in their franchise agreements; whether franchisors or franchisees.
Sample of our experience:
Represented a bank in the jurisprudence setting litigation relating to the unfair use of a trademark by a corporation which alludes to a relation with the bank;
Represented an international food processing company in its dispute with a bought-out name partner to prevent the latter from using the name/trademark;
Advised a company which stopped its commercial activity due to the Lebanese civil war and which nevertheless still has one of Lebanon’s most recognizable trademarks in relation to the enforcement of its rights over the trademark;
Advised as to all legal and regulatory matters impacting franchises, as well as drafted all agreements relating thereto, including franchise agreements and relating documentation;
Provided pro bono counseling to local artists and authors on intellectual property rights.
